Jeri Rinker, 77

June 13, 1947-May 17, 2025

Beloved Partner, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother passed away May 17th after a long illness.

She was born in 1947 to Josephine Sidle and James Anderson. She was adopted by Robert and Edith Rinker in 1949. She graduated from Southside High School in Muncie, Indiana in 1965. She served in the Woman’s Army Corps from 1965 to 1969 and was extremely proud of her service.

She was a kind and loving person, and cared about everyone, including extended family and friends. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She was sarcastic. She was also blunt when needed. She was happy to have found her biological siblings in her later years.

She is survived by her partner, Karen Posey; Daughters, Karla Sloan (Brent), Tracy Woolum (Greg); Sons, Allen Davies (Anna), Rusty Davies (Isabel), Dean McConiha (Angie), and Blake Posey; Grandchildren Chris Davies (Trevor), Sarah Ojha (Hrishav), Jordan Nickens (Kaycee), Lacy Thomason (Jake), Tabatha Cousins (Davion), Danyle Bonshire, Dianna Davies, Nelly Davies, and Yaritsa Davies; and 26 Great-Grand Children. She is also survived by sisters Joan and June Anderson and brothers John and David Anderson.

She is preceded in death by her birth parents, Josephine and James; her adoptive parents, Robert and Edith; brothers Russel, Melvin, and Joeseph Anderson and sister Josephine Anderson; nephew Bobby Meranda; Daughter-in law, Jamie Reed, and “adopted” daughter Toni Powell.
