Jeremy's obituary
Jeremy Tad Cook was born on March 1, 1981, and left us on September 24, 2025. While he was affectionately known to some as Elmo or Cookie, Jeremy was the name he responded to with the most love. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jenna Cook, his deeply cherished daughter, Coya and stepson Tristan, parents Lon “Tad” Cook Jr. and Catherine “Cathy” Cook, and an abundance of family and friends.
An intelligent, funny, patient, kind, loving, generous, selfless, amazing, forgiving, understanding, compassionate, warm, and friendly man, Jeremy left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He had the unique ability to see both sides in any situation. He always encouraged those around him to rise above their feelings about someone else and become the bigger person, not sweating the small stuff and letting things roll off their shoulders. He taught us all the importance of remaining true to oneself, without the fear of judgment and encouraged us every step of the way.
His boundless love for his family was one of his most revered attributes. His pride and joy was his beautiful daughter, Coya. To his wife Jenna, he was an amazing husband who filled her life with love and happiness. The Midas touch of Jeremy turned everything he touched into gold, both literally and metaphorically and was truly skilled at everything he did.
Jeremy's legacy is embodied in the numerous lives he touched. He was loved by everyone and disliked by none. His charismatic presence always filled the room, and there was no mistaking when he had arrived. His love was profound, and when he loved, he loved completely and with everything he had.
Jeremy’s life will be celebrated on November 1, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Calvary Baptist Church in Mesa, AZ. His life was a testament to the power of love, compassion, selflessness and understanding. He lived his life to the fullest, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all those whose lives he touched.
