It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jeremy Paris, who left us too soon on August 28, 2025. Born on October 20, 1982, Jeremy lived a life full of adventure.

A father, brother, uncle and son, Jeremy's spirit made an impact on those who knew him. He is survived by his two sons, Lucas and Grayson Paris. His legacy will live on through them. His loss will be deeply felt by his father, Kevin Paris. 

Jeremy is also survived by his sisters: Stephanie Mackowiak, Megan Paris, and Kim Paris. Jeremy was predeceased by his beloved mother, Tammy Paris, whose memory he held close to his heart.

Jeremy was a fervent supporter of UofL sports. His favorite recreational activities included fishing and hunting, pursuits that allowed him to connect with nature and find peace.

Possessing a fondness for the simple pleasures of life, Jeremy's favorite vacation spots were anywhere on the lake. The tranquility and calmness of the lake served as a sanctuary for him, a place where he could relax and recharge.

In this time of sorrow, let us find solace in the memories of Jeremy. Let us remember his love, his laughter, and his life, and let these memories bring a measure of comfort and peace. Jeremy will be missed but his spirit will never be forgotten.

A celebration of life will be announced in the near future.
