Jeremy's obituary

Jeremy Robert Dugan

December 9, 1981 – August 22, 2025

Jeremy Robert Dugan, 43, of Palm Bay, FL, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2025.

Born December 9, 1981, in Orlando, FL, Jeremy proudly served his country in the United States Army from 2000 to 2005, achieving the rank of Sergeant. As a forward observer during Operation Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom, he served with courage and distinction, earning numerous honors, including the Presidential Unit Citation.

Jeremy built a rewarding career as an electromechanical technician after his military service. He was a man of many passions—an avid Florida Gator football fan, a fisherman, hiker, and camper, and a true adrenaline enthusiast who found joy in skydiving. Beyond his adventurous spirit, Jeremy carried a deep compassion for others. From 2020 to 2022, he operated a nonprofit organization dedicated to combating human trafficking, reflecting his commitment to justice and service beyond the uniform.

Above all, Jeremy cherished his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Valerie; daughters, Ava and Fiona; and stepsons, Steele and Jesse. He is also survived by his parents, Tammy (Jim) Ennd and Derek (Kim) Dugan; stepsisters, Heather (Ron) Maggliochetti, Shannon (Ryan) Head, Jessica Chaudry (nee Ennd), and Chelsea Ennd; stepbrother, Matt Ennd; one niece and several nephews.

Jeremy will be remembered for his bravery, generosity, humor, and devotion to those he loved. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and all who knew him.

A service with military honors will be held on Monday, October 20, 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Tim Tebow Foundation.
