JB….Browndog….Brother.
Jeremy had a way to always make people laugh no matter the situation.
Having served together overseas it wasn’t unusual for Browndog to come up with something whacky to make everyone lighten up.
So many nights we spent talking about so many things. No matter the ups and downs, no matter how much time goes by, Browndog will always be remembered by those who were lucky enough to experience Browndog.
Rest easy now brother! Pro Patria

I had the honour of working with Jeremy “Browndog” Browning for a few years as we embarked on a long stretch of pre-deployment training, followed by half a year in theatre, and then the journey home. Those times were hard on everyone, but Browndog always found a way to lighten the atmosphere—whether with laughter, humour, or simply sharing in our tiredness—he always made things a little easier for those around him.
Jeremy truly wore his heart on his sleeve. Even when he was facing his own challenges, he would reach out just to ask how life was treating me. Often, I could tell he just needed to talk, and we would. Through the ups and downs, it was always good to hear from you, brother.
Jeremy and I proudly served together in the Royal Canadian Regiment. And as we say, once a Royal, always a Royal.
Rest in peace, my Royal Brother. Pro Patria.

I met Jeremy in the military. When we were based in Petawawa, on some weekends, he and a group of our friends would head to my family's farm. We had so many good times in the middle of nowhere. I am deeply saddened by his passing. From my family to yours, we are sorry for your loss. Everyone here in the middle of nowhere won't forget Browndog. Love you buddy.

Jeremy and I went to high school together. His positive spirit and kindness brightened those days. My deepest sympathies to his family.

I met Jer at RLA, a military school in Ontario. He was well respected and someone I looked up to.
