I was just a customer of his for the last 7 years, since I lived in Lafayette, and shopped at Diablo Foods. Jeremiah knew that I loved to cook and he would always encourage me when I would appear at the counter, asking for something specific, to try out a new recipe. He exuded such kindness and warmth. I am devasted by the news of his passing and think of his family, friends, and him daily. xoxox

We grew up together. He treated me like a sister. As an adult, he was always happy to see me and he made time for me and my family when we went through troubling times. Whenever I picture him, he always has a big smile on his face.
