Jeremiah's obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Jeremiah Farmer, who was born on June 2, 1995, and passed away on August 29, 2024. Jeremiah was a cherished son, brother, and father who will forever be remembered for his bubbly and warm personality.
Jeremiah is survived by his father, Darnell Farmer; mother, Keshawn Graham; sisters, Shaniquae Farmer and Latrice Butler; and his son, Nehemiah Farmer. He was predeceased by his aunt, Tamika Farmer; cousin, Bailey Smith; and grandmother, Mary Farmer.
A proud graduate of a high school in Alexandria, VA, in 2013, Jeremiah loved life and embraced every moment. His favorite foods were pizza and fried chicken, and he had a particular fondness for apple juice. A fan of Urban books, Jeremiah also enjoyed the rhythms of Lil Wayne, Lil Boosie, and Gucci Mane. In his down time, he would be found watching The First 48 and The Boondocks, or tuning into the latest Dallas Cowboys game.
Jeremiah's favorite movies were Friday and Baby Boy, and he loved playing Uno and Checkers. However, his favorite recreational activity was spending time with his son, Nehemiah, and listening to music. The color blue held a special place in his heart.
Kindness was one of Jeremiah's core values and his greatest life lesson was to always be kind to others. He often celebrated his greatest accomplishment, which was graduating from high school. Jeremiah leaves a strong legacy in his son, Nehemiah, and in the countless acts of kindness he showed to others throughout his life. His memory will continue to inspire and guide us.
With a spirit that was both bubbly and warm, Jeremiah brought joy to everyone he met. He will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
