Jerald (Jerry) D Burtz, 74, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 4th surrounded by family.
Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Vietnam veteran who received an honorable discharge in 1966. While in service he received the Good Conduct Medal, Vietnamese Service Medal and National Defense Service Medal.
Jerry had a love for nature and travel. His favorite place to travel was Aruba, although exploring his surrounding areas for that hidden fishing hole or hiking path was just as rewarding.
Jerry is survived by his sister Maryann (Burtz) Ives, his children Cassandra (Burtz) McDonough, Alexander Burtz and Denise Burtz. His Grandchildren Keegan Burtz, Joseph McDonough and Alexander Burtz. Great-grandchildren Autumn Burtz and Summer Burtz.
In his passing, Jerry is now reunited with his father Allan Burtz, mother Mildred (Piontek) Burtz, brother Robert Burtz and brother Ronald Burtz.
