Jen’s kind, gentle soul and ready smile radiated such goodness. I was a child and he a young teen when we met. He just drew you to him. Although we didn’t see each other after our youth, I’m so grateful we reconnected a few years ago. Our world tragically lost a sweet soul, but when I think of him I will always smile.

I didn't get to see Jens often. But he still always seemed larger than life and a huge part of my childhood with memories of Black Butte, outdoor adventures, and New Year celebrations. Goofy and kind with a little bit of mischief. I always imagine him smiling and laughing. His loss is felt deeply. Thinking of you all and sending love.
