Jennifer Louise Hegley was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 4, 1965 to Oliver Leo Hegley and Mary Eleanor Hegley (née Snyder). Born the youngest of 4 siblings, Jen was raised in Baldwin Borough where she graduated from Baldwin High School in 1983.  Jen was a joiner, including brownies, girl scouts, high school marching band, choir, and yearbook editor.  She attended the University of Pittsburgh where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications Rhetoric in August, 1990.   Jen moved to Murrysville, PA where she became an outstanding insurance agent, earning many awards and trips.  Anyone that knew Jen knew she never met a stranger.  Eventually, she moved to Cranberry Township, PA.  

Unfortunately, Jen suddenly and unexpectedly fell ill in January and was diagnosed with a glioblastoma, a very fast-growing and aggressive brain tumor.  She passed away on June 15, 2023.

Hegley, Jennifer Louise, aged 58, on Thursday, June 15, 2023 after a brief battle with brain cancer. Resident of Cranberry Township, previously of Murrysville and Baldwin Borough, Pennsylvania. Loving sister of Catherine (John) Boyce, David (Shelley), and Cynthia Phillips; aunt of John (Jeanette) Boyce, Erin (Jeff Schussler) Boyce, Mary and Erica Hegley, and Alexander and Jonathan Phillips; great-aunt of five; daughter of the late Oliver Leo Hegley and the late Mary Eleanor Hegley (née Snyder).
