It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jennifer Rebecca Bubna, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, on October 3, 2025. Born on February 24, 1976, Jennifer lived her life with tenacity, strength, and a heart full of kindness that touched everyone she met.

Those who knew Jennifer would describe her as sweet, sarcastic, and strong. A fighter until the end, Jennifer faced life’s challenges with the help of her family, and a sense of humor. Her spirit will continue to live on through those who loved her and the memories they shared together. Jennifer was friendly to anyone she ever met.

She leaves behind her father, Donald Bubna, who supported her throughout her cancer journey. She also leaves her sister, Katie Skelton, and her brother-in-law, Jason Skelton. Jennifer was predeceased by her dear mother, Gail Bubna, her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Title, and paternal grandmother, Marguerite Bubna.

Jennifer’s absence will be deeply felt not only by her family and friends but also the amazing nurses that took care of her at Northside Cherokee Hospital. Her spirit, resilience, and hopefulness left a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We take comfort knowing that she is at peace and, in spirit, will continue to inspire those who had the pleasure to know and love her.

As we grieve the loss of Jennifer, we will also celebrate her life and the wonderful, sweet moments she shared with us. We will cherish these memories and find strength in them as we navigate through this difficult time. May Jennifer Bubna rest in peace and may her spirit live on in our hearts forever.
