Jennifer's obituary
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Jennifer Hall, born July 23, 1967, who left us on December 10, 2025. A mother, sister, grandmother, and friend, Jennifer's presence will be profoundly missed.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Melanie Gibson, son in law Kevin Gibson, mother Joyce Jacobs, sisters Tamara Jacobs, April Young, and Stephanie Sheely, brother Robert Jacobs, along with her loving grandchildren Allie Davis, Stephen Parham II, Amy Anderson and Haleigh Trimnel.
Jennifer was predeceased by her father, Robert Brown, her son, Lamar Benton, her daughter Rainey Anderson, and husband, Roderick Steve Hall.
A graduate of Troy University, Phenix City, AL in 2008, Jennifer was proud of her accomplishment within the field of Human Services. Her bachelor's degree is a testament of her dedication and perseverance. Through her actions, she taught her family to rise again after a fall, to never give up, to stretch a dollar, to make something out of nothing, and to always work with what they had.
Jennifer was a fan of the simple pleasures in life. She loved playing Spades, Rummy, and Sorry, and she could get lost in a book for an entire day. Crocheting, gardening and thrifting were her favorite pastimes, and she had a love for Janis Joplin's music. She loved beach vacations at Tybee Island, Georgia and in those moments, her profound serenity made her beauty truly glow. She loved animals wholeheartedly and always cared for strays. Over her lifetime, she opened her home to countless unwanted, abused and neglected cats and dogs, providing them with safety, comfort, and unconditional love.
While her physical presence will be deeply missed by her family and those who knew her the love and lessons she gave will continue to live on in their hearts and minds.
