This is a message from Jeff's son Chris.

To those of you who have found your way to this site searching for information about Jeff's passing and how to connect with others to grieve, I sincerely apologize. This website was never meant to be broadcast. 

I have deleted the content that was here. It was randomly generated by an artificial intelligence bot offered by the website. After a few quick questions it generated a long, false, and incoherent "obituary". I didn't realize the website would be visible to anyone but me. I stepped away from it intending to return and continue preparing a message for you all once I was more prepared to do so.

 Somehow, someone found this website before it was complete and shared it, and it became a primary source of information for some of Jeff's contacts. 

Website curation is not where I have been putting my energy these days. We are very much still grieving and trying to find our own way through this with every intention to connect with all of Jeff's friends as soon as we find ourselves prepared to do so. Honestly, preparing something for you all has felt daunting, and we have chosen to first grieve as a family. 

We will be reaching out to you as soon as we are prepared.

I know you must be just as unprepared for Jeff's death as we were. I'm sure you have many questions. I ask that you please wait until you have spoken directly with us (Jeff's children Jennifer and Chris) or with someone who has spoken directly with us before spreading information about his death or any plans for an upcoming service.

That being said, and seeing that this site has somehow become a point of reference for at least some of Jeff's contacts, I will share here what little we do have to share at this point.

We are attempting to reserve a space to hold a Celebration of Life for Jeff on May 20th in Palm Desert. We will confirm individually as soon as we are able. The collected videos will be curated and shared during his Celebration of Life, and then saved so his grandchildren might better know him through all your eyes.

As we all find our way through this grief, in the absence of satisfactory information about his death or upcoming services, I ask you to please channel that grief to reflect on your relationship with Jeff. We will be so grateful to hear what you will miss most now that he is gone, and what he has left with each of you. And please trust that we will welcome you to a place where we can all share in the pain of our loss and the joy of having known him as soon as we are able.
