Jeffrey Mark Stovold, age 61, died unexpectedly on February 2, 2018 of heart related issues.

Jeff was a longtime Escondido resident and was in wine and liquor sales with his company Southampton Marketing. He was a former manager at the Brigantine Restaurant in Escondido and was employed in the restaurant business as a bartender in his early years of employment.

Among Jeff's passion were sports including following the Dodgers and professional soccer. Jeff loved all thing British (his parents were from England) and he travelled to the United Kingdom several times. Jeff, because of his business, was also known as "Wine Jeff" at Escondido bars and restaurants.

He is survived by his brothers Bryan Stovold of Escondido and Roger Stovold of El Cajon. A memorial service will be held at Oak Hill Memorial Park in Escondido on February 16 at 2;30 pm.
