Jeffrey stone, 59, passed unexpectedly on September 10, 2024. His celebration of life will be held at 10am on Saturday, September 21st, at the Allen-Summerhill Funeral Home In Deland, FL.

Jeff was an outstanding man who was cherished by many. He was a loving husband, stepfather, brother, son, and friend. He had a variety of hobbies and was easily the Jack of all trades. He enjoyed being outdoors, had countless projects to tinker with, and always had a passion for sports. Jeff had a great sense of humor and liked to play jokes on his family at home. He was deeply loved by his family and friends, who will sorely miss him.

Jeff was a Deland native who later settled in Barberville. He graduated from Deland High School and played baseball in his younger years. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and spent time stationed in Texas, and overseas in Germany. After his time in the military, Jeff spent over 30 years as a machinery mechanic. He was married to his loving wife, Su Stone for 20 wonderful years and was an exemplary father figure to his stepdaughter, Candice. He had a strong bond with his family and is also survived by his 3 brothers and mother, Jimmy, Eric, Ricky, and Myra, whose love for him is immeasurable. Jeff will be fondly remembered for his service to his country and his devotion to his family, friends, and the lord. His presence will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him.
