Jeffrey Stephen Fox, born October 17th 1953, passed away on Sunday, August 26th 2024 in Boulder, Colorado. A Professor of Mathematics at the University of Colorado, Boulder, Dr. Fox was a true academic at heart with a deep passion for mathematics, teaching and mentoring. Dr. Fox was also a talented amateur photographer, with a penchant for black-and-white photography; a black-belt in Judo who trained service men for a period; a lover of dogs, particularly his former black labs, General and Genevieve; and always enthusiastic about a good slice of German Chocolate cake. He is survived by his daughter and siblings. A memorial service will be held at 10:30am on October 5th, 2024 at the Wood Shelter (1198 Flagstaff Drive, Boulder, CO 80302).
