Jeffrey's obituary
Jeffrey Lewis Renzler, 38, of Clarksburg, West Virginia passed away on February 7, 2022 at Medical City Hospital in Plano, Texas, after a hard-fought battle with COVID. He was born June 10, 1983, in Wheeling, West Virginia. Jeff graduated from Indian Creek High School and went to college to earn his associates degree at Youngstown State University. He worked as an Operator at Harrison Power Station in Haywood, West Virginia, for 8 years. In 2017, Jeff married Christina Holley in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. He was a loving father to two boys who he would do anything for, Achen, 10, and Jenson, 2. He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Patricia and Glen Flesher; brothers Matthew Renzler and Levi Flesher; and several aunts and uncles. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Renzler, Jr. Jeff loved Ohio State Football, making his family and friends happy, and had a passion for his exotic gecko and sports memorabilia collections. Jeff had the privilege of having many long-time friends since childhood, as well as in the fitness, sports and exotic gecko communities.
Jeff's family would like to thank the amazing ECMO team at Medical City Plano for their aggressive and non-stop treatment approach in order to help Jeff. You all have an amazing medical team and each and every single one of you work endlessly to try to reach positive outcomes. You made us feel like family and you made our stay as comfortable as you could. You ALL are angels on this Earth. Thank you so much.
