Jeffrey's obituary
Jeff’s life was marked by laughter and joy—he had a gift for finding humor even in hardship, and a way of making everyone feel like the most important person in the room. His presence was magnetic, his storytelling was a superpower, and his loyalty to family and friends ran deeper than words. As the eldest son and a devoted uncle to many, he was the steady center of his family, and as a friend, one could not have found a more loyal companion—through thick and thin. As a husband and father, he poured his whole heart into those he loved. His daughter Aurora was the light of his life.
Adventure was in his spirit, yet it was always bound to the pull of home in Northern California and the outdoors he cherished. From the Sierra foothills to Lake Tahoe, he spent his latter years not far from where he began. The joy found in the rivers, mountains, and skies mirrored the joy in his soul. Jeff’s time with us was too short—yet his impact was profound. We who knew Jeff will remember him with smiles and laughter through tears, grateful to the Lord for the gift of his life, and for allowing us to share in it.
