Dear Amy,
I would like to express on behalf of Care Marstel Senior Homes, our condolences on the loss of your husband Jeff. Many of us here knew him personally his likes and dislikes. Jeff was well-loved among our staff. He will be missed.
Again, we extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.

I first met Jeff through a mutual friend Denise Clayton when I was 19 years old. Seems like a lifetime ago! Jeff was 25.
.To be honest when I first met him, I thought he sure was full of himself! He was attractive in a “bad” boy way. After agreeing to go on a date with him, I was pleasantly surprised at how down to earth he was and learned a great deal about him and his life. We talked for hours and shared a lot with each other. We actually sat on the sand at Pirates Cove Beach ( Corona Del Mar) and watched the sun rise together the next day!
I know my mom’s first impression of him was iffy! He showed up at my house driving a black convertible VW Rabbit, he had on tight black pants, a leather jacket with a tank top on (1989) black boots, his hair a bit long and spiky on top and both ears pierced. He says “ hi is your daughter home” when my mom opened the door! 🤣
