On Monday, July 4, 2022, Jeffrey (Jeff) R. Krohn of Galesburg, MI passed away at home at the age of 66. Jeff fought a long battle with cancer and is now resting in peace. Jeff was born on June 21, 1956, in Kalamazoo, MI to Don and Beverley Krohn (Lockwood).

Jeff worked at Parker Hannifin for 41 years as a machinist and then transitioned into machine repair maintenance. This was a good fit for him as he loved to tinker with things. He was always fixing something or taking an object apart and putting it back together. If he didn’t know how to fix something, his response was to “pull out the manual and read it”. Jeff could fix anything and if he didn’t know how he would figure it out. He loved riding his Harley, working in his barn, visiting Florida, eating sweets and spending time with his wired-hair fox terrier, Sophie.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Don Krohn. He is survived by his children Lindsey (David) Casey and Evan Krohn, his mother Beverley Lockwood, his sister Karen (Mike) Caro and precious dog Sophie.

A memorial luncheon will be held on Saturday, July 16th at the VFW Comstock Post on E. Michigan Ave in Kalamazoo, MI at 11am. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Centrica Care Navigators (Hospice of SW Michigan).
