Jeff was such a kind, thoughtful, and larger-than-life person — always ready to lend a hand and share a laugh. We’ll never forget the memories of him helping us fix the bathroom in our old house and building the deck on our new one. I can hear him blasting his rock music, now. ;)

Please know that we’re thinking of you and your family during this difficult time, and holding you close in our hearts.

With love and sympathy,

The Aellens

Our magical trip to Christmas…

Our magical trip to Christmas at the Greenbrier, you wanted us to “live in the Hallmark Movie life”
As we were leaving out wedding reception, Jeff squeezed my hand and said” let’s do it again, I’d marry you everyday if I could”.

The table representing a life well lived that touched so many. Though deeply missed, the love, lessons, and moments shared remain with us always. This video is captured from Jeff's celebration of life on Saturday, December 27th 2025.

Jeff invited me into the MadHaunters family and made me feel so proud that I belong some place special. I know he’s lifting people up in heaven right now. I will never forget him. I’m so sorry and sad for his family and all of us who were blessed to know him even a little bit. Halle
My  heart is with you. I remember Jeff as a fun, loving man who loved his family dearly. The joy you felt for each other filled your house with laughter.

We are just heartbroken and so sorry for your loss. Jeff was truly one of a kind. He was someone who treated everyone like a friend and always made you feel like his best friend. Avery adored “Mr. Jeff” and was always excited to see him when he was renovating our house, and we will always be grateful for the kindness and care he showed our family, including giving Maverick some work during the summer before college. Jeff will be deeply missed, and our hearts are with you, Amy, and your family during this unimaginable difficult time.
I have no words for seeing this post today. I'm so, so sorry. I have only known Jeff, Amy and Shelby for a little less than 5 years, but they made me feel like family. I have been a food truck vendor for the haunt over these years and loved every moment! I will miss him dearly. Thoughts and prayers from Kaziville.
Jeff was such a personable force of kindness. We have so many fun memories of Jeff during our many house projects. The best was when we had the rogue pigs in our yard and had to call animal control.  We also have a cute video of Bradley rigging up a trailer to his Power Wheel to look like Jeff’s. We are so thankful we got to know him. We will be there for you all for whatever you need. Love, all the Kellers
I'm so sorry to hear of Jeff's passing. We were classmates and friends in Sugarland and then reconnected through FB and the haunted houses.

I remember when Amy met Jeff and he worked at the pizza place. He was so SoCal! He was also very sweet and friendly and he was amazing to my cousin.  I loved his ambition that moved them across the country, even though we missed them over here in AZ. I loved to see how hard he worked to take care of her and their girls and his family on the East Coast. I loved to watch the haunts year after year and how they got bigger and better and got the community involved. I would show people at work his Madhaunter Facebook page and brag that he was my cousin's husband. I watched their marriage and how connected and in love they still were and I bragged about that too and showed my kids. I saw him support his daughter's dreams and that he was a daughter dad that help raise strong, confident, independent women. I didn't get to have many conversations with Jeff, even though he's my cousin in law, but I could see the man he was and we should all be so happy to leave the kind of mark he's left on the world.

AmyLynn, I'm so so sorry sweetheart, I would take this for you if I could. Of all the couples I know, you two were meant to grow old together and my heart breaks with you. I know it's been a hot minute since we talked, but I love you and I am here for absolutely anything you 3 need. We love you more than I say and our hearts are with you and Jeff's family.

Jeff was a good friend to so many including myself. As so many have said, he was someone who was larger than life. He was always active, gave so much of himself  in doing something for so many people.

 May he rest now.

My condolences to his family and friends. He was the glue that brought so many of us together, he took great care of his family. I hope  that his family knows that if they need help with something , that they can reach out and ask us.
