Me and Jeff on liberty in Mombasa
So very sorry for your loss.  Jeff was my roommate in the Marines and was definitely as they say, a little less than a wife and a little more than a brother.  After all these years I have met only a couple of people who were as generous and genuinely kind hearted as Jeff.   We were so very close and I will always regret I waited until it was too late to catch up with my brother.  Rest In Peace, Naps!!🇺🇸

You had a childlike wonder for many things, Groundhog’s Day was one of them in particular. Many times you would talk about what a grand adventure it would be, going to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania, to witness the spectacular Groundhog Day celebration in person…this is an another “first without you” moment…Jeff Keiling, you are the infinite love of my life…even from beyond the stars.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all who knew him, especially my cousin Amylynn Metcalf Keiling and their girls Hailey Kaye Keiling and Shelby Keiling. The world lost a bright light for sure and a force of nature but also someone who cared for people he didn't know thru his charity work, deep love for his friends at the Haunt, fireworks and his job. His greatest loves were his family; he was a very engaged and active father, he worked hard to make sure his family was provided for and that his girls knew they could do anything. The love he and AmyLynn had for each other is the stuff of Hallmark films and an example of how we should strive to be. He loved her fiercely, bragged about her to anyone and took her on so many grand adventures! They were simultaneously like dating teenagers and perfect for growing old together. I'm across the country and have only spoken to Jeff a handful of times but those few times he made a great impression. I have seen their lives on Facebook like many families that are away from each other. I wish I had gotten to know him better, the world is lacking in real people, honest, good people. Let's take this and try to be the "Jeff" where we are. AmyLynn and girls, my heart is broken for you. We know the heart break of losing a father too soon. My girls lost their father 5 years so and the pain is real. We love you all and are here for you, however you may need us.

Jeff is more than just a ‘boss’ to me. He is a friend, a fatherly figure, and a light in the dark. He brought me into the Haunt Family, building decks and bathrooms for 50 east, and light up the skies for Master Displays during the 4th of July Season. Jeff you impacted my life more than I think you ever realized. You taught me how to work hard for the enjoyment of others and crack a joke while doing so. I promise to continue your ways; hopefully sharing your passion for a job well done and a good scare to the next person who has passes me bye. Thank you for everything
Losing a person like Jeff fro…
Losing a person like Jeff from your life leaves a void that can never be filled. His friendship, love for horror, leadership, and personality was one of a kind. His being missed is an understatement. Prayers to the entire family.

The very first time I met Jeff he bragged about his two beautiful daughters. Then he went on about how important marriage is and how much he adores Amy. It didn’t stop there. Just thinking back to that moment makes me blush. I believe someone eventually interrupted him because he was going on and on about Amy’s attributes with no sign of stopping. He loved her so much. He was so proud to be married to her. That was my first impression.

On a sales trip, I remember him telling us about walking the beach with his beautiful bride at sunrise together to find conches. The next morning I searched and searched but that magical moment had been solely reserved for Jeff and Amy.

As I got to know him better, I enjoyed his sense of adventure.  It was his idea to hike a mountain instead of sitting by the pool relaxing. This wasn’t any mountain. We were in another country and there were no trails or paths.  But there we went! My husband, Amy, Jeff, and my pregnant self in the heat into the unknown. And we didn’t stop until we reached the top!

Also tying in with his sense of adventure was his stealthy menu collection.  Ha!

Jeff was a fun, adventurous, caring man and smiled on the outside no matter what he was facing on the inside.

God bless you and your family, Amy. I pray you can find some sort of peace.

Today it’s been 4 weeks since we lost you, how is that even possible….It is still so unbelievable to me that you are gone….the silence from the absence of your specific “noise” is deafening….i love you baby…always and forever

Another random Jeff-adventure. You woke me up, said “honey back a bag, don’t ask questions, I want to take you somewhere!”.So many of our little “get aways” began just like that…you always said how much you loved how I trusted you to take me anywhere…I would go anywhere with you baby!

On our way home from a Jeep Adventure, you took us way out of the way to go to this spot…you always were a Dukes of Hazards fan!
You were my smile at the end of a bad day, a port in any storm, my safe haven and the true love of my life….my soulmate. Our lives were destined to be intertwined, even before we knew it…give me strength to navigate this world without you by my side ❤️
