Jeffery Flaherty, 61, of McGregor, MN, passed away on January 31, 2023 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer.

Jeffery was born on November 10th, 1961 to Michael and Georganne Flaherty in Saint Paul, Minnesota. After graduating from Forest Lake High School in 1980, he went on to enlist in the United States Air Force as a Tactical Aircraft Maintenance Specialist. In 1981 he was stationed at RAF Bentwaters in Suffolk, England.  

It was there that he met Vicki Lu Anderson, and they wed in 1982, going on to have two children,  Joshua Shaun and Jessica Christine. 

Jeffery spent the majority of his professional career working in the hospitality industry. Anyone who knew him knew he was always there with a joke or a smile and encouragement and support. 

Jeffery was also a passionate hockey and football fan and always had a running schedule in his head as to when "the game" was going to be on television. 

Anyone who knew Jeffery knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. Jeffery was predeceased by his mother Georganne and brother Robert. He is survived by his wife Vicki, son Joshua, daughter Jessica (Matt), sisters Maureen (Tom) and Susan, and brothers Dean (Cindi) and Michael (Lesley). 

There will be a celebration of life on February 11th, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Minnesota National Golf Course in McGregor, Minnesota.
