Background
Jeff’s health deteriorated so quickly and immediately that it shocked everyone who knew him. The joyful, joking extrovert who everyone knew and loved was struggling to eat or drink within weeks of his diagnosis.
His family wasn’t prepared for the financial strain of his long hospital stays and all of the tests and medications required to diagnose his illness and keep him comfortable at the end.
This website and donation goal were requested by Jeff, we are trying to honor his wishes. He emphasized not wanting a financial burden put on his family.
Another instance of him planning ahead and putting others ahead of himself, even when he was very ill. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and used per Jeff’s wishes.
Update 1: We are so thankful for the support and donations. We neglected to consider upcoming bills for Jeff’s final days in the hospital. We modified the donation goal to anticipate these future charges. Apologies for not thinking about this sooner and thank you everyone for being so kind. Contribute
