Jeffrey R. Ellerbee, 64, of Macon, Georgia, passed away on March 7, 2026. He was born on February 3, 1962.

Jeff was known as a hardworking man who took pride in what he did. He loved crushing cars at work just as much as he enjoyed working on cars in his spare time. Jeff had a deep appreciation for anything with an engine and was always happiest when he had his hands on car, fixing it, improving it, or bringing it back to life. His strong work ethic and passion for cars were a big part of who he was.

Jeff was a husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle, who loved his family. He is survived by his wife, Marcy Ellerbee; his daughter, Maria Thomas; sister, Debbie Sue, Sandy, Patty; and his three grandchildren. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Ellerbee; father, Oliver Ellerbee; and his brothers, Boy and Cooter Ellerbee.

A private celebration of life for the family will be held at a later date.
