I was so fortunate to have met Jeffery when he first came over to Kauai. We worked together at a few different restaurants, Whalers Cove, Beach House and Waiohai after hurricane Iwa. We surfed many years at all the breaks, and I was able to be in his sons life, Nicholas, which was some of my best times on Earth, as Nicholas grew up on that beautiful island.     Years later as Hezar came into Jefferies life, his glow grew and life got even better for him. Still had many great times together and was able to surprise him here in California at my home with old Kauai Brothers before he and Derrick went on their last  great adventure together. Watch Derricks 15 minute clip if you like, very nice work. I will forever remember my many times with this great human as will my wife, Jill. He brightened up our lives as we added to his journey on Earth, God's speed Jeffery, and continued protection and Aloha for Hezar and Nicholas!! I will try to share my photos!
I only met Jeffrey once actually when I was at the house having a massage with Hezar. But, in that short meeting, I had an instant liking and knew he was very special. Now, he will dance with all of us from the otherside of the veil. As they say, "Everybody is laughing and we are crying when we are born, everybody is crying and we are laughing when we die". As he emerges into his great freedom may the ones behind retain the connection, to the oneness and the timeless. Love you Hezar. Many hugs. Thanks for all the wonderful photos.
Jeffrey was always a beautiful bright light. His loving and inspiring words and actions always made me feel good. I have an amazing memory of  time with him in Kauai. He took us snorkeling. I was in the water with him and he told me to look below me…there was a big sea turtle. It was magical.  That experience & other memories will be in my heart forever. His love for Hezar, Nicholas, Friends, family and nature was profound. If everyone in the world was like Jeffrey, what a beautiful world it would be. May we all live by his example. Rest in peace Jeffrey. Much love, Jerry
My family was so fortunate to become friends with Jeffrey and Hezar through our friends Derrick and Julie Ho. What started out as a meet up for a hike with Jeffrey ended up being a week of hiking, exploring and surfing together. We loved our time with Jeffrey and always looked forward to our return trips so we could hang out. He was so generous and his optimism and passion for life and the island was contagious! He was so cool to our son Myles, and Myles will never forget the "Sour Flowers" Jeffery found for Myles. Myles now lives on Oahu and I'm sure Jeffery's love of the Hawaiian lifestyle made an impact on that choice! Thank you Hezar and Jeffery for your Aloha spirit - we miss you and will always remember Jeffery! Mahalo-Rick Blazer

I think the Hawaiian word hanohano means honorable, but i have heard that it also means glorious as in Hanhano Hawaii. I am comforted by the thought Jeffrey is hanohano, knocking on heaven’s door.

Goodbye Jeffrey, Aloha Oe, till next time, see you on the other side

May god bless you and keep you

May your wishes all come true

May you do for others what they would do for you

May you build a ladder to the stars

And climb on every rung

May you stay Forever Young

May you grow up to be righteous

May you grow up to be true

May you grow up always to see the light surrounding you

May you grow up to be upright

May you grow up to be strong

May you stay Forever young

Jeffrey's last visit to the Mainland where he visited us and his family and friends in Southern California. Our trip included the Grand Canyon, Capitol Reef,  Bryce and Zion National Parks.  He also visited his sister Cathy and Brother Brad in Arizona.   I will be joining you someday on your trip into the LIGHT.

We had the great fortune of meeting Jeffrey on Kauai in late 2020. From the moment we connected, Jeffrey had this insane ability to contemplate what would be best for us when we had no idea.

Hiking is now our love and meditation - thank you, Jeffrey, for your incredible spirit and openness to everyone around you. We are better people having had a few precious moments with you that will live on forever. ~Avanti & Jon
