Jeff will always be one of the best friends I've ever had. He was my roommate at the University of Montana and I would be lying if I said we didn't do a lot of stupid and crazy things. Most of those, "things", I can only tell you after we drink a few beers together....:) Jeff and I often talked about being old men sitting around with cold beers and tacos, reminiscing about the old days. It sucks to realize that I'll now have to do that by myself, if I'm lucky enough to become an old man.

Even after seeing Jeff in October I still believed we still had time to do things together and it's still a shock to know that we won't. If there is anything to gain from this huge loss it has to be the realization that there is no time to wait. Do the things you dream of and reach out to those that you love...

Going to miss the Little Pendejo, but he will always be there as a part of my soul.

Jeff has always had a special place in my heart He grew up with my children in Vallejo He will be missed By my entire family May he rest in peace and may God comfort you Love Linda McHale

Met Jeff through my wife Barb and friend Chris Sherry. Had some great Mtn Bike rides and adventures with him. Always sharing travel and adventure stories. Never got on the water with him, but I know he loved boating. What a great human. Quality guy. He and Jen rented our Conifer house for a bit. He called me once to tell me he had broken one of our big windows on the house while weed whacking the front yard. We had a good laugh on that one. Anyway, he will be missed greatly.

I had the pleasure of meeting and working with Jeff in the environmental field during the 90s, and got to spend many mountain biking days with him. As well as, sharing camping trips and maybe a “few” beers 🍻. Although I haven’t seen him in years, I think of him, and the adventures that were shared, often. The world is a lesser place without him.
Ah, Jeff, one of my favorite people in the world. ALWAYS up for an adventure, a ride, a climb, a boat ride, a beer. ALWAYS easy to get along with, hilarious, creative, solid, and interesting; a good mate to have around when things got intense. Here are some pictures to remember Jeff, typically photo bombing someone else’s shot or mugging up his own. A truly wonderful spirit and friend, I miss him and will always miss him. Rest in peace my dear friend.
