Jeffery Ray Peer

Jeffery Ray Peer, 69, of Glenwood, Iowa, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with end-stage Parkinson’s disease. Complications from a pulmonary embolism and heart attack contributed to his passing.

Jeff was born on January 9, 1956, to James and Maxine Peer. He earned an associates degree in accounting and spent much of his professional life as a window salesman. Jeff had a strong appreciation for the finer things in life and found joy in living life on his own terms.

He was formerly married to Sandy Gibbs, and from that union came his daughter, Kari Anne (Peer) Harlow. Jeff was also a proud grandfather to Britani, Joshua, Kyle, and Ava, as well as several great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Michelle Conner (Jeff).

Jeff is preceded in death by his parents, James and Maxine Peer, his uncle Don Peer and aunt Martha Peer.

Though his passing was unexpected, arrangements are being lovingly handled by his daughter, Kari, in honor of his memory.

A private service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to assist with end of life expenses, if wished.
