It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery O’Neal Bolar, who departed this world on April 30, 2025 at the age of 59. Born on January 14,1966 in New Orleans, Louisiana ,Jeffery was a beloved son, father, grandfather, partner, brother, and a cherished member of the community.

Jeffery was known for his hard work to support his family and dedication to being an active father and grandfather, as well as his ability to make a joke and have others to crack a smile given any situation. He touched the lives of many, especially his family members, with his willingness to sacrifice his free time to provide and ensure all things were taken care of in all aspects of their lives. He has departed this world, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication to hard work.

Jeffery is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Bolar and father William “Shrimp” Sanders. He is survived by his children; Jeffery Fischer, Javonda LaFrance, Jalonda LaFrance, Jaqunda McDonald(Gary McDonald Jr.), Robert LaFrance, Jazz Bolar, Ja’Nasia Bolar, and Jaden Bolar ; his grand children Tron Fischer, Sa’Brianna Fischer , Bran’Niyah Atkins, Bran’Nijah Atkins, Freddie Gloston Jr. , Layla Gloston , Zara McDonald, Belle McDonald, Iris McDonald , Sugar LaFrance, Suri LaFrance; and his long time companion, Sherina Green.

A private memorial will be held to honor the remembrance of Jeffery.

Jeffery will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.May he rest in peace.
