Jeff's obituary
Jefferey James Bryant passed away surrounded by family and loved ones on Sunday October 23, in Murray city Utah, at the age of 50.
Jeff a Utah native was born on February 1st, 1972, to Sharon Bryant Harward and Jim Bryant. Both of whom proceed him in death.
Ever the comedian, Jeff was known to always be making jokes, popping off with a witty come back, or filming little skits such as "This Is My Life". He would always do what he could to make others laugh. He was also incredibly good with children and looking forward to one day being "Papi Jeff".
As a hands-on worker, he spent the first half of his life as a talented carpet installer and the last half as a meat cutter for a local Reams in which he was very proud of and enjoyed his job and his work family.
Jeff is survived by his children Jakup Bryant, and Chanel Strickland whom he shared with his ex-wife of 22 years, Shanna Bryant. His dear sisters Lynette, Deanna, and Jill along with multiple nieces and nephews and his oldest friend Larry.
Jeff will be deeply missed by those who knew him, and those whose life's he made brighter. He will always be remembered as a larger-than-life personality, who could light up the room, a music lover, and a quick-witted sense of humor. He was a man devoted to his faith. A beloved Father, brother, uncle, and friend.
We would also like to take a moment to thank all the responders who helped from the minute he collapsed to the moment he passes. You all were truly heroes, and we appreciate the care you provided more then we could every express.
The family would love if you could join them in Celebrating Jeffs life, during a public service which will be held Friday October 28th, at 7:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of West Valley located at 3831 S 2700 W WVC Ut, 84119. Where Donations and Flowers can be sent.
The family will also be hosting a private celebration of life and ash scattering ceremony on Friday November the 4th.
We love you Jeff, and are so very glad your no longer suffering, but wish we could have had more time with you. We know while we are broken hearted and missing you, that you are in a better place and flying high watching down on us. Until we meet again, we love and will be missing you.
