Jeff Kallsen Yager, born October 15, 1957, passed away on July 4, 2025 at his home in Inman, SC, surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease.

Jeff is survived by his devoted wife of 46 years, Rebecca; his brother Robert (Joan) of Parish, NY, his sister Ellen (Gary) of Greer, SC; his four children, Rachel of Jacksonville, FL, Jennie of Charlotte, NC, Benjamin of Cicero, NY, and Leslie (Jon) of Greer, SC; and eight grandchildren who brought him immense joy: Kaelin, Devin, Anthony, Alexis, Leif, Finn, Lux, and Orazio. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Joyce Yager.

A farmer at heart, Jeff was raised on his family’s farm in upstate New York, a place that shaped his strong work ethic and love of the land. He went on to build a life rooted in hard work and service—spending his career in construction and later as a truck driver. Jeff had a quick wit, a quiet strength, a generous spirit, and a steadfast love for his family.

A celebration of Jeff’s life will be held on August 2 at 11:00 AM at 1467 N Hwy 101, Greer, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Samaritan’s Purse International Relief, an organization close to his heart.
