Mr. Jeffery Dean Wise, 60, of Valdese, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 17, 2023. 

Jeff was born on May 27, 1963 in Burke County to the late James Wise and Mary Stilwell Wise. He was employed with Vanguard Furniture in product development. Jeff enjoyed woodworking and motorcycles and loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren. 

Survivors include his wife, Ginger Griffin Wise of the home, three children; Katie Bryant and husband Roi-Kyi of Morganton, Daire Anthony and husband Rob of Harrisburg, and Blake Scott and wife Jenna of Charlotte. Also surviving is a brother, Rick Wise and wife Kelly of Valdese, six grandchildren; Gatlin, Journer, Sterling, Langston, Eloise and Orianthi, sister in law, Donna Griffin of Huntersville, mother in law, Mary Ann Hammonds of Kannapolis, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. 

A Service of Remembrance will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Heritage Funeral Service, with Pastor Billy Glosson officiating. The family will receive friends following the service
