Jeff's obituary
Jeff was an engineer, both in profession and passion, able to fathom and fix almost anything. From the Apollo missions to SpaceX, he marvelled at all forms of space travel with the wonder of a little boy. He loved technological toys and took joy in the simple thrill of owning and driving a sports car.
Above all, Jeff adored his family. As a husband, he was a devoted and loving best friend for 39 years. As a parent, he was caring, patient and proud - passing on his unmatched work ethic and quiet satisfaction in doing things well. He was a dedicated grandparent, treasuring the time spent with his grandchildren in their early years. After retirement, he loved spoiling his grandson Quinn with both gifts & time, patiently indulging his interests and passing on his mastery of bad puns and dad jokes. He doted on his orange cat, Baby, showing it so much love as to make it the envy of the entire family.
Jeff was a kind and gentle man, with a deep reserve of toughness and determination - which he drew upon during his fight with cancer. Our hearts are broken today, but we will go forward with great memories and so much gratitude for having him in our lives.
