My heartfelt condolences to the Aberle family. I first met Jeff during our time at Anthem, and even after we had both moved on, we would cross paths from time to time. He was always such a kind and genuine person, and I am deeply saddened by his passing. I hope you find comfort and peace in the memories you shared and in the love that surrounds you during this difficult time.
My condolences to the whole family! I worked at Elevance Health with Jeff.  He was easy to get along with and was a man of his word, so we appreciated that! Praying for comfort and peace during this hard time.

Alex I am so deeply sorry for your loss. My heart aches for you and your family during this incredibly difficult time. Jeff was an amazing person.

Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I hope you can find some comfort in the love you shared, the memories you hold, and the support of those who care about you. May you feel surrounded by peace and strength as you navigate the days ahead.

With deepest sympathy and love.

Jeff was a sincerely nice human being.  Our paths only seemed to cross during various high school soccer games but whenever I saw him we would always catch up and analyze the games in real time.  He always had a sunny outlook and was a devoted father.  He will be greatly missed.
When Calla began 4th grade she came home very excitedly telling me she had met another little girl “just like her.” She said she even had short hair and played soccer! I was a little apprehensive but soon that little girl’s dad, Jeff, sent a very nice note home to us about how they would love to get the girls together outside of school - and for that time they were inseparable. The Aberles welcomed Calla all the time - even with short notice - for swims, Funville outings, and sleepovers. Our kids never played for the same club, or had overlapping games, but by middle school we parents were able to cheer our kids on together when they were finally on a team together. Jeff was one parent you could depend on to always say hello, always be supportive, and never ever lose his cool- his presence was quiet and calming. When Alex hosted nights with the girls and a bit of wine, he readily hosted - ensuring everyone had the best time, felt completely at ease, had plenty to eat, and we could just enjoy the antics as they unwound. I am completely shocked by the news of last week and the loss of Jeff, and my heart pours out to Alex and their 3 girls - wishing you the peace be brought no matter the circumstances, the laughter he fostered even when things got a little crazy, the love he extended to welcome people into his loving family fold, and the comfort in the days ahead he would so badly have wanted for all of you.

From the day we take our first breath on this planet, we are given a simple mission, even if we don’t always realize it, to love fully, to move through life with as much purity as we entered it, and to leave nothing left on the table.

From the photos, stories, and memories shared, it’s clear that Jeff accomplished that beautifully. His presence, his love, and the way he showed up for others have left a lasting imprint that will continue to shine through the people who knew him.

Sending you an abundance of love and light in this dark time. May you feel supported, held, and reminded that the love he gave so freely still surrounds you now.

We would like to extend our deepest condolences to Alex, her children, and the entire family regarding Jeff’s passing. Although we lost touch unfortunately due to us moving and life, they were always wonderful folks that we kept in our prayers. We used to live right beside them on Erin Drive. All our children played together daily for several years. The adults did too as well! We had many fun times at their pool, in our Jacuzzi and man cave garage. I fondly remember all our children camping with us behind the woods in our house in the makeshift fort we built for them. For a couple of years straight, Jeff and I assisted one another with putting up Christmas lights with each other. I considered him a friend and good buddy. Alex was  “salt  of the Earth” along with her children and her mother Babooshka to us. Although, living next-door to them for three years, we have many fond memories of our interactions together. I know and believe in my heart that one day we will all be reunited with the ones we love. I would like to think that our oldest son Mason Calhoun 24 yrs old, (who passed away in June 2018), along with my father Larry Calhoun, who knew and liked Jeff, greeted him at the pearly gates! Alex and family, our hearts TRULY go out to you during this time dear. We love and miss yall! The Calhouns- Chris, Allison, Kayla, Justin, and Maitlyn.
