Jeb O’Brien Zaun, 48 years young, unexpectedly passed away at home in Roseville, MN on Oct 15, 2025.

Cancer sucks. No one deserves to suffer through such a terrible illness, but you never complained. Though your body was weakened by the disease, your desire to keep going remained strong. When your time suddenly came, your faithful spirit was lifted by angels to be with your mom and Jesus.

An accomplished engineer for 25 years at 3M, Jeb loved his family more than anything else. His young son was the light of his life. Jeb took great joy in spending precious time with his child. Jeb thrived on connecting with his beloved family and friends. He believed in community service, and volunteered his time and energy in order to help meet the needs of others.

Jeb, you are forever in our hearts. We will keep putting one foot in front of the other and try to be half the wonderful and loving human being you were. We are lucky enough to have had you in our lives for as long as we did. Jeb, you are so beautiful.

Jeb was preceded in death by his mother Mary. Jeb is survived by his wife Rachel of 10 lovely years and their son Oliver (age 9), their German shepherd Alonzo, as well as Jeb’s father Richard, and Jeb’s sister Katie and her two children Hades and Marcus.

Jeb’s wake will be held on Nov 6th, 5p, at Roseville Memorial Chapel. A visitation will be held on Nov 7th, 10a, with Jeb’s memorial service at 11a, at Presbyterian Church of the Way in Shoreview.
