Jeannine Laura Johnson, 55 of Kansas City, Missouri (formerly of Naperville, IL) passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack on February 14, 2023. A graveside service will be held at Fairview Cemetery in Kearney, MO on Tuesday February 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm. We invite all who knew and loved Jeannine to attend. A celebration of life service will be scheduled in the spring of 2023 in the Kansas City, Missouri, area for Jeannine and her mother, Judith Bredfeldt (who went home to be with the Lord on December 7, 2022).

Jeannine was born on January 30, 1968, in Winfield, Illinois to Harry and Judith Bredfeldt and was the oldest of three children including John Howard and Jeffrey Scott Bredfeldt.

She graduated from Waubonsie Valley High School in 1986 and attended Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, IL, before completing her Sociology degree at Benedictine University in Lisle, IL. Upon graduation she went to work as a Claim Representative for the Social Security Administration until she started her own business as a highly sought after Piano Teacher.

In 1990, she married Paul Michael Johnson in Lombard, IL, and together they had three sons, Luke, Bradley and Evan Johnson. They lived in the Naperville area before relocating to Kansas City in 2011.

Jeannine was preceded in death by her brother, John Howard, and her mother, Judith (Judy).

Jeannine is survived by her husband of 32 years, Paul Michael Johnson; Her sons Luke (Jessica) Johnson of Tulsa, OK; Bradley (Hadley) Johnson of Kearney, MO and Evan Johnson of Kansas City, MO.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Children's Heart Project via Samaritans Purse in honor of Jeannine.
