Gianna Orlando, better known as Jeanne Mascio, and known to those that cherished her most as Nanny or Mom, passed away January 19, 2021 surrounded by her loving family, both physically and in spirit. Jeanne was the youngest of six and from early on demonstrated her resilience, strength, and most notably her absolute devotion to her family, which was obvious to anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She leaves behind her three children, Michael, Vincent, Maria; her four grandchildren, Danielle, Vincent, Justin, Jared; and her namesake and great granddaughter, Gianna. Additionally, she leaves her son-in-law and grandson-in-law, Jim and Kris and countless other family members and friends who continue to love her. Aside from the above, Jeanne was known to be generous, compassionate, with an amazing sense of humor, evidenced by the constant teasing her family put her through. Unbeknownst to most, she loved every minute of it. Jeanne was a beautiful woman with an even more beautiful soul, who will continue to live through the love she left with her family. She took care of each of them through the last moment and will forever remain alive through the memories and lessons she left behind. A memorial in her honor is being planned for the summer.
