Jeanne's obituary

Jeanne Davis, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2023, at the age of 72. Born on February 2, 1951, Jeanne touched the lives of many with her kind and caring spirit.

Jeanne is survived by her devoted husband, Steve Davis, her loving daughter Tangee Davis, her cherished grandson McAlister Camp, caring son-in-law Jason Camp, and supportive brother Ray Caldwell.  Jeanne's family meant the world to her, and she was a selfless caretaker throughout her life.

A dedicated and passionate volunteer, Jeanne served many  organizations with her time and energy, including Fantasy of Trees, the Williams Family Seymour Branch Library, and the East Tennessee Children’s Hospital.  She took great pride in giving back to her community and was a shining example of kindness and generosity.

With an adventurous spirit, Jeanne loved to travel and unwind. She especially loved time in nature, including the mountains and the beach.  She collected shells from every beach she visited.  Her determination to live life to the fullest was an inspiration to all who knew her.

Jeanne held a special place in her heart for dogs, especially her own pets, who brought endless joy to her life.

Amidst her many interests, Jeanne's family and friends remained her top priority, and she took great pleasure in making lasting memories with those she loved the most.

Jeanne was laid to rest on April 26, 2023 at Larkspur Conservation nature preserve. A Celebration of Life for Jeanne will be held on June 16, 2023, at 5:00PM at the Ijams Nature Center. Her friends and family will gather to remember and honor her beautiful soul and the indelible impact she had on their lives. Please join them in celebrating the life of this extraordinary woman, who brought so much love and light to our world.
