Jeanette's obituary

Jeanette Lynn Sisson

October 18, 1968 – March 20, 2025

Jeanette Lynn Sisson, 56, of Marion, Ohio, passed away peacefully in her home on March 20, 2025, surrounded by love from her mother, Linda Lou Sisson, and daughter, Miranda Marie Golden.

Born on October 18, 1968, in Marion, born to John Eric Sisson and Linda Lou Sisson. Jeanette lived life with a fierce spirit and a generous heart. She was a rebel in all the best ways—bold, independent, and unapologetically herself. She had a deep love for motorcycles, painting, arts & crafts and long country drives with the windows down and the music up. But more than anything, Jeanette loved her family and friends. She had a gift for making people feel seen and cared for, always willing to lend a hand or an ear.

She is survived by her loving mother, Linda Lou Sisson (Harbolt); her daughters, Megan Espin Martinez (Blevins) and Miranda Marie Golden; her son-in-law, Julio Cesar Espin Martinez; and her grandson, Julio Noel Espin Martinez. She also leaves behind her brother, Eric James Sisson, along with many friends and extended family who will miss her deeply.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Ray Blevins Jr., and her father, John Eric Sisson.

A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be held at Grand Prairie Baptist Church on April 10 at 1 p.m. Following the service, we invite everyone to join us for a potluck in the church’s fellowship hall. If you’d like to participate, please bring a dish that reminds you of Jeanette—something she loved, something she shared with you, or simply something that brings her to mind.

Address to Grand Prairie Baptist: 4893 Marion-Upper Sandusky Road Marion, Ohio 43302. We would also like everyone to note that the north bound exit off of route 23 to 231 (Brush Ridge-Wyandot Rd.) is currently closed.
