Uncle Louis was my dad Leo's younger brother. As a child, no matter where we were living, our family would travel to Maine for the family reunion. Uncle Louis was always there smiling with open arms and a big hug. After my dad died, Uncle Louis would call me to check on me and ask about my family and siblings. I was so grateful for that. I will never forget what a sweet, kind and gentle man he was.

Rest in peace, dear Uncle. Please give my dad a hug and kiss from me. I love you very much!

To a Great man

Super Lou Leger,
You are and will always be a kind, loving, caring soul. Your love for family, friends and damn near everyone is inspiration to all. Your love of life and laughter and adventure will live on in my, as I am sure everyone's, heart for eternity. You we're the closest to a father (for the better part of my life) that I will ever have had. Thank you for opening your heart and welcoming me into your family. Thank you for having a daughter that I am greatfully and wholeheartedly in love with and get to spend the rest of my life with.
Your a (Super) husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother to all. You will be missed dearly.

I thank you for your service to our country and your overwhelming dedication to family and friends.

Those that have gone before will be waiting with open arms to welcome you home.
He was always my Uncle Louie. He bought me a Davy Crocket jacket when I was real young. He was my godfather and as are all my Uncles the greatest. I will miss him!!!
