Jean Goodrich Javidi, 71, of Twinsburg Ohio tragically passed from complications of Lung Cancer in the early morning of August 20th 2022.  Although this timing was unexpected and devastating, Jean was able to enjoy the company of her family, as herself (funny,  beautiful, lovable) up until her passing which was mercifully without suffering.   Jean never identified with a particular home town as she grew up a 'brat' on military bases in Frankfurt, Germany, Chitose Japan and Radcliffe Kentucky.  Although these places and experiences uniquely shaped her world view and identity, ultimately, Jean's home was wherever her family was, as they meant everything to her.

Jean was predeceased by mother Marjorie Goodrich, father Durward Goodrich, and tragically over the past few years by her dear brothers John , Joe and Jim Goodrich.  She is survived by her devoted daughter Leila Javidi, cherished siblings Judy Catlett, Jeff Goodrich and Jane Card, and by her loving and supportive extended family Sina Javidi, Bailey Javidi and Rhona Davis, and of course by her cuddly grand-cats, Herm and Wilma.    

"Miss Jean" as she was so affectionately called by many, truly brought humor, love and brightness to all who knew her. If you were a good friend of hers you probably have a memory laughing at breakfast with her, as this was one of her favorite weekend activities.  As such, it only feels right to request all of Jean's loved ones to join us in celebrating her beautifully full life over a 'breakfast' memorial at the Fresh Start Diner in Twinsburg Ohio on Saturday October 1st between the hours of 2:30-5:00 pm in place of traditional funeral services.  We ask that you feel free to come comfortably and casually, as this is exactly what Jean would've wanted.  

In lieu of flowers or gifts, we ask that instead a donation be made in her name to the Summit County Humane Society to especially support "Kitty City", as those little kitties meant the world to her.
