Jean was a special lady that made my mother’s and my life that much brighter.  Happy Birthday Jean.  We miss you.  She had the best beef stroganoff recipe and would make it and bring it to our home in Lake Geneva.  She had the best optimistic attitude and we loved her company.

Sending our condolences to Julie and Trevor and the whole  Zima family.   Wish we could be with you today but we live in Florida now.  Jean and I go way back, working at the board of trade and living together in Wrigleyville.  Jeans dream came true when she became a mother and Trevor and Julie made her life complete.  Jean always lived life on her own terms.  I loved her laugh and zest for life and will miss her.

Jean, you were a God-send to …
Jean, you were a God-send to me and my boys when we needed you most. I won't ever forget all you have done for me. You were such a true friend and showed love in all you did for us. You taught me that in this life, things may not always go according to plan but that doesn't mean it can't still be beautiful. Such a strong woman with the most generous loving heart. I will miss you dear friend. My boys will miss you so much too.

We have been best friends since we were teenagers she takes a piece of my heart with her. Witnesses to each others shenanigans and secrets.  I know someday we will laugh again together but till then the world will be a little less bright. I have loved Jean very very much. Trevor and Julie you are the pieces of light that are a part of her that she leaves behind to continue shining.
