Jean Yves Alain Albert, 76, of Northford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on July 12, 1948 in St. Francois, N.B. Canada, Jean was the beloved husband of Margaret Albert for 51 years. Together, they built a family that brought him immense joy and pride.

Jean was a hardworking and dedicated man who owned and operated his own roofing and siding company for many years. He built a reputation for quality work and craftsmanship over his long career.

Above all, Jean’s greatest love was for his family. He is survived by his wife Margaret; his son Gary Albert (AnnMarie); his daughters Lori Hall (Austin); and Lynn Albert; his grandchildren Emilie Albert, Grace Hall, and Addison Hall; and his great-grandson Cristian Coria. Jean cherished every moment spent with them, whether sharing stories, family dinners, or simply enjoying their company.

He is predeceased by his parents Armand and Gertrude (Gagnon) and brother in law Normand (Sam) Boucher. He is survived by his sisters Aline (Bernie) Madore from Meriden, CT; Gisele (Don) Boucher from Lewisten, Maine; Micheline Boucher from Beresford, N.B. Canada; Lili (Paul) Landry; Guylaine (Michel) Soucy; and brother Donald Albert from St. Francois, Canada and many nieces and nephews.

A true lover of life, Jean had a great sense of humor that brought laughter to all who knew him. He had a passion for golfing and could often be found on the course, enjoying the camaraderie of friends and family. His spirit and infectious laughter will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

Jean’s family is grateful for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. Arrangements for a celebration of his life will be private.

Jean Albert will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
