JayRon Daland Shaw, beloved son, friend, and scholar, tragically passed away on Wednesday, December 17, 2025, after being fatally shot at a party. He was rushed to a local hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries shortly thereafter. JayRon was born on September 5, 2000, and in his 25 years of life, he left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
JayRon was a young man full of life, warmth, and compassion. Known for his vibrant personality and outgoing spirit, he had a rare ability to connect with people from all walks of life. His smile, energy, and genuine interest in others made him a natural leader among his peers. Friends often turned to JayRon not only for companionship and laughter, but for guidance and understanding. He was widely admired for his high level of empathy and was frequently the one who stepped in to resolve disputes, always striving for peace, fairness, and mutual respect.
A man of many interests, JayRon enjoyed staying active and challenging both his body and mind. He had a strong passion for sports and fitness, particularly softball, basketball, and cross training.
