What a beautiful remembrance! Your mom was one of a kind and I loved her dearly. We talked a lot and she always asked me about my kids, one by one. She had such joy!

Thank you for sending the memorial photos! They bring back many memories. There is a family photo you are in as a little girl with a bead necklace, that is about the time I met you all at a backyard bbq party on Sheridan Ave. Many of them made me smile and I could hear her laughing. The pictures at the farm seem like yesterday and the ones with Kelvin brought back memories of the last time we spent time together in Florida and have thought of her many times since, I will miss her!

Remembering happy times with my Auntie Jayne tonight.

Her laugh, smile, whistle, the smells of breakfast waking me up at her farm house. She was always cooking something (never baking, she didn't like that as much).

She knew exactly how much love you could out into a full meal cooked from scratch and could can for days with the fresh vegetables from her garden.

As a child, I would watch her in the beauty salon at St.

Anthony Nursing Home and Chandler Place. She would talk to all of the aging women and men with such love and care. She was always happy to hear their stories of their grandchildren and their lives past and they were always happy to see her. It takes a special soul to keep someone in their last days of life feeling loved, cared for and beautiful. Auntie Jayne did that one permanent and hair cut at a time and I was lucky to have her in my life.

I can’t find pictures yet of your gardens- but you loved your gardens. Flower and vegetable you even later on planted an orchard in the horse pasture. Every Mother’s Day was spent cleaning out gardens and replanting them.

Sending you all love and strength as you go forward. Great pictures and even better memories.
How do you summarize this lifetime of your life well lived with your free spirited adventures and friendships? One simply cannot. You have accomplished so much in your short life, fulfilled so many dreams,  chased so many sunrises and sunsets and everything in between the rainbows.  There so many more memories of your Sturgis days, wildflower days, river days,  hot rod days, bonfire and guitar days on the farm, the OG of Rum point,  Wreck bar and wooden dance floor,  Driftwood days, farming days, canning days with your mom, Key West days, camping days, and visiting every state I ever moved to. The list goes on and on. Mamma, I am proud of you. Thank you for being the best Mom and Mimi to your little people. I will swim with you forever in the sea., best friend. Xoxo
