Jay Franklin Roth, 75, of Mounds View, MN, passed away on 8/5/2022 at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale, MN at 7:10 pm.

Jay was born in Youngstown, OH on October 16th, 1946.  Jay graduated from Case Western Reserve University in 1969.  He accepted his first position with Univac and moved to the Minneapolis area, never leaving.

Jay held several jobs over the course of his life and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was a very kind and gentle man.

Jay met his wife, Marie, in 1997 and they married a year later in 1998 on Jay's Mother's 80th birthday. Jay and Marie never had children, but Jay considered Marie's children from a previous marriage, his children. And he loved them dearly.

Jay suffered a stroke on May 23rd, 2022.

In the end Jay's body couldn't continue though his spirit tried. Jay's mother June and his father Edward, predeceased him.

Jay is survived by his wife Marie, his sister Karen Roth, his brother Robert Roth and his step-children, Michael Copeland II, Everett Henes and Katherine Arguello.

Jay is very deeply missed by all.
