Javion's obituary

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Mr. Javion Thomas, who departed this life on November 28, 2024. Born on September 9, 1999, Javion was a cherished son, loving father, protective brother, and a dear friend to many.

A pillar of strength and resilience, Javion was survived by his beloved parents, Jatavia Smith and Deon Smith. In his lifetime, he was the source of supreme joy and pride for his sons, Kason Thomas, Keon Thomas, and Khyrein Rutherford. He was the caring brother of Emmanuel Smith, Payton Smith, and Rihanna Rouseau, who will remember him forever in their hearts.

Following his high school graduation from Manassas, VA in 2018, Javion embarked on a journey of self-discovery and enrichment. His taste spanned across various spheres of life, from indulging in his favorite broccoli and cheese casserole to tuning in to the timeless episodes of Scooby-Doo. An all-genre music lover, Javion cherished the melodies that resonated with his soul.

He found comfort in the fantastical worlds of Marvel movies and the fierce, yet intricate expressions of Anime and Street Art. An avid Falcons fan, Javion's spirit would ascend with every victorious match. He relished recreational activities such as fishing, creating music, and most importantly, spending quality time with his family.

Javion was renowned for his passionate endeavors in steering young black men away from trouble. His favorite color, red, symbolized his fiery resolve and intense love for life. With a personality best described as goofy and fun-loving, Javion radiated an aura of joy that was infectious to all around him.

His loving principle of 'Family over everything' was a shining beacon, inspiring many to value their kin above all. One of Javion's notable achievements was his enrollment into trade, a testament to his ambition and drive. He leaves behind a legacy of love and family, a path that will guide those who came after him.
