Jason "JJ" Sutton, aged 53, passed away on July 24, 2024, in New Haven, Michigan. Born on February 17, 1971, in Holland, Michigan, JJ was known for his vibrant sense of humor and his unwavering commitment to his family. A devoted husband to Amy and a loving father to Jack, he was also a cherished son of Kirk Harness and the late Gladys Sutton. His sister Jennifer Smith preceded him in death.

JJ graduated from Godwin Heights High School before earning a degree from Michigan State University. Throughout his life, JJ was an avid enthusiast of golf, travel, surfing, and scuba diving, embracing each with passion and enthusiasm.

JJ's memorial service will be held on August 2, 2024, at the Forest Park Clubhouse, 15495 Hofma Drive, Grand Haven, Michigan. This will allow time for family members traveling from overseas to attend and celebrate his life.

In place of flowers, contributions can be made to Make A Wish or Wounded Veterans, causes that were close to JJ's heart. Klaassen Family Funeral Home in New Haven, Michigan, is overseeing the arrangements. JJ's legacy of laughter, love, and resilience will forever be remembered by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
