Born on February 17, 1971, in Holland, Michigan, JJ was known for his vibrant sense of humor and his unwavering commitment to his family. A devoted husband to Amy and a loving father to Jack, he was also a cherished son of Kirk Harness and the late Gladys Sutton. His sister Jennifer Smith preceded him in death.
