Jason's obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we report the passing of Jason Tyler Street (Stokke). He was called home on June 6, 2023.
Jason was born on January 24, 1979 in Bellevue. He grew up and attended school in Issaquah. From an early age his mischivious nature and strong will kept his momma on her toes and her reflexes tested.
Jason's presence was felt the minute he walked into a room. Not only was he most likely the biggest guy in any room, his larger than life personality commanded all eyes to be on him.
Known for his joking personality, Jason was the life of every gathering, and his unique humor brought smiles to everyone he met. He was forever playing practical jokes on and "messing" with those close to him.
Jason had this huge smile that could light up the world and a laugh that could cure even the worst of bad moods.
He was a diehard basketball fan. Cheering on the LA Lakers and Seattle Supersonics with an enthusiasm that was infectious.
Jason enjoyed walks around the city, watching movies, heart felt conversations, road trips, and spending time with his family.
Jason had an innate ability to connect with people, and his caring nature touched many lives. He was always the first to apologize and take steps to repair any damage after a disagreement.
Jason was a cherished friend and beloved family member, His legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
